< Previous38 Recreation For equestrians, The Sea Ranch Equestrian Center provides a 46-acre facility with a barn, lounge, stalls, and paddocks. While TSRA assessments pay for the maintenance of the buildings and fencing, stabling your horse requires an additional fee. Golfers can enjoy the privately- owned, open-to-the-public 18-hole Sea Ranch Golf Links. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, this is a challenging course with a dramatic coastal setting described as “natural and minimalist.” “Our community garden is one of the best on the planet, and we thrive working side by side with our neighbors and friends, enjoying a delicious bounty all year long.” Justine Rosenthal and Janine Johnson, 2019 Experienced and neophyte gardeners may join our one-acre Posh Squash Garden, where members work a half-day each week, March to mid-November, to communally raise organic produce from asparagus to zucchini. Members pay an annual fee. Surf and Rock © Rozanne Rapozo43 Area Services Utilities Electricity is provided by PG&E. During severe and prolonged winter storms, it is likely that power will go out for some period of time. You should have flashlights, radio, plenty of fresh batteries, and dry wood on hand, as well as a phone that does not rely on electric power. Any time power will be out for longer than a day, the Del Mar House and/or the Ohlson Ranch House will be open. Also note that PG&E can cut power to any part of Sonoma County during periods of high fire danger. To report a power outage or check the latest status report call PG&E at 1-800-743-5002. We are therefore especially fortunate to have high quality health care and emergency services. The Light © Mel Gerst “Sideswiped by a stroke, I was whisked by ambulance to helicopter, soon landing at Stanford’s medical center. The trip took less time than driving there from San Francisco. Praise for and thanks to our EMTs and the RCMS medical team—they are ready; they care.” Joanna Barnes46 Clockwise from top left: Reach Helicopter © Bonnie Plakos; Fire Trucks © Shelley Spears; Volunteer Fire Fighters © Bonnie Plakos47 Health Care Services Medical Redwood Coast Medical Services (RCMS) (707) 884-4005 rcms-healthcare.org Our non-profit health center provides a broad range of services to people in northern Sonoma and southern Mendocino counties.
